Unique is now accepting applications for a variety of positions within our programming department. Please specify your primary area of interest/expertise from the following:

Qualifications:

  • You have 3 years plus experience in one of the above areas of development.
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with: C++, C required.
  • Experience with: OpenGL, Directx, and Ruby an asset.
  • Must be familiar with developing in Linux operating system.
  • Previous experience developing in a Windows environment may be an asset.

  • To develop new and continue development on existing systems and software.
  • To recommend improvements within the system.
  • To standardize and document system development.
  • To explore and implement enhancements to the system and associated tools.
  • To work with a team dedicated to providing products of the highest quality.

Senior Electronic Technician

Using proprietary software and 3-D body scanner technology, we collect body measurement data that translates into customized products and services.

We are seeking an individual with at least 5 years of technical experience working on PCB prototype assembly, systems assembly and PCB testing and trouble shooting. You will be working at our assembly partner location at Southampton Road in Philadelphia and reporting to the VP of Engineering. This is currently a 6 month term position with a possibility of renewal or full time at the end of the term.

Qualifications:

  • Electronic Technician with min 3-5 years experience
  • Experience with PCB debug for embedded systems
  • Building and Testing prototypes PCBs
  • Building Test systems for use in production
  • Documentation of Test procedures with Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic is useful
  • Basic knowledge of CAD for mechanical design and/or PCB schematic capture useful
Responsibilities:
  • Work with engineering to develop test platforms for current and new PCBs
  • Documentation of assembly procedures and test procedures
  • Assist in the development of OC based test interfaces
  • Assist in procurement for prototype PCB build
  • Interface with vendors for testing and product assembly
  • Some travel may be required for installation of 3D scanners
  • Other duties as required
